Formed in 2015, Argent Related brings together the expertise and track record of UK developer, Argent and the US-based Related Companies.

Since 1981, Argent has delivered some of the most successful mixed-use developments in the UK. Argent is best known for the redevelopment of King’s Cross in London, Brindleyplace and Paradise Circus in Birmingham and the Piccadilly area in Manchester. Learn more about Argent.

Related Companies is widely recognised as one of the most innovative and prolific developers in the US.  The firm is currently developing Hudson Yards in New York, the largest private development in American history. 1972: Stephen Ross founds Related Companies.

1970s: Related finances and develops government assisted multi-family housing for long-term investment – a unique concept at the time. Related becomes the leading financier and developer of affordable housing in the US.

1981: Argent is founded by Michael and Peter Freeman.

1995: Argent Development Consortium Limited – a joint venture with BT Pension Scheme and Citigroup – is formed to carry out several hundred million pound development programme at Brindleyplace, Birmingham.

1998: Related wins the coveted bid to develop the prestigious Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle in Manhattan.

2000: Argent is selected as the developer of 67 acres
at King’s Cross.

2006: The London Borough of Camden grants outline planning permission for 8 million sq ft of development at King’s Cross.

2008: Related was selected to develop Hudson Yards, a new 28-acre neighbourhood on the west side of New York City, and was tapped by Deutsche Bank to complete construction on the $4 billion Cosmopolitan Development in Las Vegas.

2015: Argent and Related companies form a partnership to pursue the development of urban projects of scale in London and the UK.

2016: Haringey Council enters a strategic partnership with Argent Related to undertake an ambitious project to transform Tottenham Hale.

2016: Argent Related forms a joint venture with Barnet Council to develop a new model neighbourhood at Brent Cross South.

2018: Argent Related submits a full planning application for its Tottenham Hale development.
