1972: Stephen Ross founds Related Companies.

1970s: Related finances and develops government assisted multi-family housing for long-term investment – a unique concept at the time. Related becomes the leading financier and developer of affordable housing in the US.

1981: Argent is founded by Michael and Peter Freeman.

1995: Argent Development Consortium Limited – a joint venture with BT Pension Scheme and Citigroup – is formed to carry out several hundred million pound development programme at Brindleyplace, Birmingham.

1998: Related wins the coveted bid to develop the prestigious Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle in Manhattan.

2000: Argent is selected as the developer of 67 acres
at King’s Cross.

2006: The London Borough of Camden grants outline planning permission for 8 million sq ft of development at King’s Cross.

2008: Related was selected to develop Hudson Yards, a new 28-acre neighbourhood on the west side of New York City, and was tapped by Deutsche Bank to complete construction on the $4 billion Cosmopolitan Development in Las Vegas.

2015: Argent and Related companies form a partnership to pursue the development of urban projects of scale in London and the UK.

2016: Haringey Council enters a strategic partnership with Argent Related to undertake an ambitious project to transform Tottenham Hale.

2016: Argent Related forms a joint venture with Barnet Council to develop a new model neighbourhood at Brent Cross Town.

2018: Argent Related is granted permission for its Tottenham Hale development.

2020: Argent Related starts early works on Brent Cross Town.

2020: Argent Related signs first construction construction contracts and work begins on Totttenham Hale.
